It's a sad, sad day in Orange County

Ok, so maybe viewership has dropped from 10 million to 4 million since it's debut in 2003...and maybe the story lines have been getting a bit too strange...and the characters a bit too over dramatic - but regardless of all of this, The OC will be missed.
The show has been cancelled by Fox, with the final episode airing on Thursday, February 22, at 9 p.m.
So, to the show who immortalized the city of Chino, Ca, made it "cool" to be a comic book geek and created Chrismukkah - the best holiday ever...you will be sorely missed. (sniff sniff)

i will never forget the first episode of the OC. i was very anti- "the OC" since i'm from there, but i was forced to watch it by my friends, and i fell in love.

throughout all the ups and downs and ridiculous plots i have remained a loyal fan.

you may be gone, but not forgotten. long live seth, summer, marissa and ryan. oh, and thanks for making housewives hot ;)

This sucks, the season was getting really good. Going back the vibe we loved in the first season.

I think the 3rd season was so horrible that they had no choice but to cancel.

Or maybe Adam and Rachel really can't stand each other after calling it quits in real life and now can't work together on set

I heard that Adam was messing around with a PA on the set which is why they broke up
